This is a list of  information to help you organize your vacation and make it as stress free as possible. A great vacation plan finds a family-friendly destination and activities and attractions that you and your kids will enjoy.

• If you are checking bags at the airport, tie the same color ribbon or make an “X” with duct tape so they’re easy to identify at baggage claim and place your name and contact information inside as well as outside the suitcase.
• Pack essentials and a few clothing items in your carry-on. This is even more important if you have connecting flights, in case your luggage doesn’t arrive in same place you did.
• Search online before you leave and plan different activities that appeal to different family members and one activity a day you know the whole family will enjoy.
• Cross-checking with your family is always a good way to avoid leaving things behind in your room when you are preparing to return home.
• Bring another bag to packing dirty separately. It can be a different suit case or just a plastic bag. It beats giving your clothes “the smell test” when you get home.
