Freestyle Music Park

Freestyle Music Park

The Hard Rock Park reopened Memorial Day Weekend 2009 as Freestyle Music Park. The park is a 55-acre theme park based on a variety of music genres.

The park’s signature coaster is called The Time Machine. The 150-foot tall, 65-mph steel coaster includes built in speakers that blast a variety of songs from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, and 00’s. You will know which genre you will be listening to by which line you are eventually funneled into. The different time genres are painted on the doors. The coaster has more loops than drops but still gives you a great ride.

The Round About is a car-coaster that races to 1980’s hits. The ride is designed to be a British car factory where rides take the car out for its first test drive. The Round About also has Ferris Wheel elevator, where the cars are loaded from the bottom of the track onto a Ferris wheel apparatus and then released at the top into a high speed ride.

The Iron Horse is located in the country music section of the park. This steel coaster (although it appears wooden) is themed as a mine train which take you through a old abandoned lumber mill.

Soak’d is a hanging roller coaster located in the kids section of the park. This is a wet ride that lets onlookers fire water cannons as the roller coaster passes by. This is not a lopsided fight as there is a risk of themselves being soaked by showers that fired at random.
